I work with you in a highly collaborative way to address the issues important to you. We do this by exploring your concerns and working together to develop a plan to achieve the success you desire. Although I am professionally trained as a marriage and family systemic therapist, I am neither for nor against marriage. In fact, I believe all sorts of relationships bring people fulfillment and a sense of well-being. My fundamental orientation is systemic therapy. Psychological problems that afflict people are oftentimes related to the context of their lives and the quality of their interpersonal relationships.
I work with a variety of individuals, couples, and families. I have particular experience in relationship issues, alternative lifestyle issues, and substance abuse. I also have been effective working with elderly clients and people dealing with major life transitions. Subspecialty Training Includes: Certified Hypnotherapist, domestic violence, and Certified Addiction Professional training.
My entire career, first in business and then in psychotherapy and related research, has been dedicated to how individuals and groups organize and work cooperatively to achieve worthy and positive goals. I am passionate about this work and have ample life experience that many clients have found to be beneficial.
